Alen Voskanian, MD, MBA, FAAHPM, FACHE is the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Network. He is a board-certified physician in Family Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine, an accomplished author, and a dynamic keynote speaker. In his leadership role, Alen focuses on transforming healthcare to improve access and quality for all.
Alen earned his BA from UC Berkeley and his MD from UC Irvine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency at UCLA, followed by an HIV fellowship. He later earned an MBA in the Business of Medicine from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, where he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society.
A former innovation advisor for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation, Alen has received the prestigious Cunniff-Dixon/Hastings Center Physician Award for excellence in end-of-life care. He is also a Health Innovators Fellow with the Aspen Global Leadership Network, reflecting his commitment to forward-thinking leadership in healthcare.
